PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing support device in which fishing spot information is presented in an easy manner for fishers to understand, and which is convenient for use at a fishing spot on the day. SOLUTION: The fishing support device 1 includes: a camera 4 for taking images; a GPS antenna 5 and a GPS receiving part 6 for receiving a GPS signal and obtaining the position information of the current location based on the received GPS signal; a display 3 for displaying images; a storage part 10 for storing fishing spot information in association with position information indicating the locations of fishing spots; a fishing spot information imaging part 43 for creating a fishing spot information image 66 based on the fishing spot information memorized in the storage part 10; and a calculation part 14 for, based on the position information of the current location obtained by the GPS antenna 5 and the GPS receiving part 6 and the position information of the fishing spot information memorized in the storage part 10, producing an image in which an image taken by the camera 4 is overlapped with the fishing spot information image 66 created by the fishing spot information imaging part 43.
