<p>A functional water capable of effectively preventing the deterioration and putrefaction of food only by application thereof to the surface of the food. There is provided a functional water comprising a reducing hydrogen water saturated with hydrogen gas and, mixed therewith, chitosan. The storability of food can be enhanced by treating the food with the functional water.</p> |
