The present invention relates to a ligand compound, an organo-chromium compound, a catalyst system for ethylene oligomerization, a method to prepare the same, and to an ethylene oligomerization method using same. The catalyst system for ethylene oligomerization according to the present invention is able to maintain high catalyst activity and alpha-olefin selectivity in the form supported by a carrier. Therefore, low-density polyethylene or the likes can be prepared in a single reactor using just ethylene monomers with a smaller amount or even with no comonomers such as alpha-olefin.
