An apparatus and a method for manufacturing a composite body are presented. The apparatus comprises a mould (1) and a fiber placement machine (2) comprising at least two fiber placement heads (21), the fiber placement machine (2) being adapted to move the fiber placement heads (21) past the mould (1) and to deposit with the heads (21) on the mould (1) respective plies (26), wherein the fiber placement heads (21) are arranged so that they simultaneously and sequentially follow the same path of movement, so that a multilayered stack (261) of plies can be provided by the simultaneous movement of the heads (21). |
