The invention relates to a display module with a green colour filter and a matched light source for reducing the leakage of red light through the green colour filter. According to one embodiment, a product of a value (BL3a) corresponding to a maximum peak wavelength (»a) of the normalized emission spectrum (BL3) between 480nm and 660nm of wavelength of the light source and a value (G3a) of the normalized transmission spectrum (G3) of the green filter layer corresponding to the maximum peak wavelength (»a) is a first product value. A product of a value (BL3b) of the normalized emission spectrum (BL3) and a value (G3b) of the normalized transmission spectrum (G3) corresponding to a cross-point between the normalized emission and transmission spectra between 660nm and 780nm of wavelength is a second product value. A ratio of the second product value to the first product value is less than 2%.
