<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-hop communication system capable of properly sorting between a power-line carrier communication channel and a radio communication channel for performing multi-hop communication depending on a route formed between a master unit and a slave unit.SOLUTION: The multi-hop communication system permits communication relay via other slave units 10 when performing a transmission of information between a master unit 20 and a slave unit 10. A hybrid slave unit 11 in the slave units 10 has a control section 110, a storage 111, and a communication section 112. The communication section 112 includes a radio communication section I/F 1121 that performs radio communication using a radio wave as a transmission medium; and a power-line carrier communication section I/F 1122 that performs power-line carrier communication using a distribution line as a transmission medium. The communication section 112 can select two different communication methods; i.e., radio communication and power-line carrier communication. The control section 110 selects from establishment of a communication route, communication using the communication route and communication method. The storage 111 stores a program for functioning the control section 110 and communication routes.</p> |
