<p>The method involves introducing a heat pulse in an excitation surface (12) of a component (1) by induction coils (3) of a ferromagnetic coil core of an alternating current (AC) inductor (2), where the coils are electrically connected with each other and wound in a same direction. A transversal heat flow is produced in a test zone (5) of the component by the pulse, and homogenously heated. A radiated temperature profile of the zone is hindrance-freely detected by a thermography camera (7) through a recess of the inductor, and subsequently evaluated by a computer (8) coupled with the camera. An independent claim is also included for an arrangement for non-destructive testing of joint connections and material defects in components.</p> |
