PURPOSE: A display device for a vehicle and a control method thereof are provided to easily check obstacles by vertically and horizontally offset-controlling vehicle marks which are displayed on a monitor of a display unit. CONSTITUTION: A display device for a vehicle comprises four or more image acquisition units(10), an image processing unit(20), a vehicle information acquisition unit(50), a control unit(30), and a display unit(40). The image acquisition unit is installed on the fixed position of the vehicle. The image processing unit produces overlook images. The vehicle information acquisition unit provides behavior information according to the driving operation of the vehicles. The control unit receives the behavior information and offset-control the overlook images. The display unit outputs the overlook image to a driver. |
