Provided are a system and method for providing an image related to an image displayed on a device. A method according to which a device provides a second image related to a first image displayed on the device includes the steps of receiving, from a server, a request for the second image related to the first image displayed on a screen of the device; and providing the second image for the server in response to the request, wherein the second image is projected onto a plate on which the device is placed through a projection device connected to the server, the first image displayed on the screen of the device is a part of an entire image related to the first image, and the second image includes the other part of the entire image.
