PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic recording head capable of performing faster and more stable recording in high frequency assisted magnetic recording, and a disk device including the same.SOLUTION: The magnetic recording head includes: a main magnetic pole 66 which applies a recording magnetic field to a recording layer 22 of a recording medium 12; a spin torque oscillator 74 provided adjacently to the main magnetic pole in the vicinity of a disk counter surface facing the recording medium; a recording coil 71 which excites the main magnetic pole; a recording current control circuit 70 which supplies a recording current to the recording coil; a constant current energization circuit 84 which supplies a constant current to the spin torque oscillator; and an inversion current energization circuit 86 which supplies an inversion current different in polarity from the constant current, to the spin torque oscillator. |
