PURPOSE: An automatic control method and an automatic control device for a combusting device are provided to efficiently divide a discharging space in a lower side of a combusting material and a combusting space in an upper part of the combusting material by supplying the combusting material with proper height. CONSTITUTION: An automatic control device for a combusting device comprises a mixing control module(3), a monitoring module(2), and a control module(4). The mixing control module includes an upper detector(31) and a lower detector(32). The upper detector determines whether or not the height of a combusting material in a furnace reaches the upper detecting range. The lower detector determines whether or not the height of the combusting material in the furnace reaches the lower detecting range. The monitoring module includes a pressure detecting device(21), a first temperature sensor(22), and a sensor(23). The pressure detecting device is arranged in the furnace and detects the pressure inside the furnace. The first temperature sensor is arranged in a flue gas stack and detects the temperature of the flue gas stack. The sensor generates a sensor signal responding to the flow of flue gas inside the flue gas stack. The control module controls the generation of a first direction when the height of the combusting material reaches the upper detecting range.
