The present invention relates to a buoy for tsunami detection floated on the sea to perform precise position measurement by automatically balancing to make an GPS antenna always face a constant direction even when the buoy is shaken by waves or tsunamis. The buoy for tsunami detection having a GPS receiver for precise position measurement according to the present invention comprises a floating part formed of a floatable material to be arranged on the sea and having the flat top surface; a GPS antenna support part mounted on the top surface of the floating part and having a gimbal shape; and a GPS antenna part mounted on the GPS antenna support part to receive GPS signals by communicating with multiple GPS satellites. The GPS antenna part maintains the position in the constant direction.
