PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light absorption material, while using 6 lanthanum boride fine particles, composite tungsten oxide fine particles or the like having plasmon absorption, capable of shifting an absorption peak in a near-infrared region to a short wavelength side or a long wavelength side.SOLUTION: This light absorption material comprises: fine particles having the absorption peak of light by plasmon absorption in a near-infrared region; and a medium transmitting visible light and also dispersing the fine particles. By composing the medium of a material having a refraction index of 1.0 to 1.4 or composing the medium of a material having a refraction index of 1.6 to 3.0, compared with the conventional light absorption material in which a medium is composed of a material having a refraction index of above 1.4 to below 1.6, the absorption peak in a near-infrared region can be shifted to a short wavelength side or a long wavelength side. |
