PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a float-type liquid level gauge capable of accurately measuring the height of a liquid level, by suppressing a tilt of a float to a rod caused by waving of liquid while using a cylindrical or columnar rod that is easily manufactured, inexpensive, and popular.SOLUTION: A float-type liquid level gauge 1 comprises a float 2, a rod 3, and a float holding tool 4. The float 2 has an inner peripheral surface 2a composed of a cylindrical-shaped or ring-shaped circumferential surface, floats on liquid 5 with its one end surface 2c of an axial direction, being directed downward, and moves in response to changes in movement of a liquid level 5a. The rod 3 has an elongated shape and a cylindrical or columnar shape, penetrates through the inside of the float 2, and movably guides the float 2 along a longitudinal direction. The float holding tool 4 is composed of a plurality of float holding members 8 that vertically extend from the float 2 along a longitudinal direction of the rod 3 and whose both ends 8b, 8c in the longitudinal direction or their vicinities slidably come into contact with an outer peripheral surface 3b of the rod 3. |
