PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply device capable of highly reliable communication using a cheap UART module, a power supply system using the power supply device, and a communication method for the power supply system.SOLUTION: A control circuit 52 of a power supply device 46 comprises: an UART module comprising an rx terminal, a tx terminal, and a gn terminal; and a CPU connected with the UART module and a power conversion unit 50. The control circuit also comprises an RX terminal, a TX terminal, and a GN terminal that draw out the rx terminal, the tx terminal, and the gn terminal to allow them to be connected with the outside. When the power supply device is used, the RX terminal, the TX terminal, and the GN terminal are coupled with an external apparatus 48, and it performs two-way communication with the external apparatus 48. The UART module transmits and receives communication packets made up of one or more communication frames. Communication information in each communication frame includes address information and data information. The control circuit 52 ignores data information in the communication packet when it receives address information that does not accord with its own address. |
