The present invention relates to a vertical load supporting device for a GRE pipe and, more particularly, to a supporting device which is installed in order to provide a GRE pipe installed in a vertical direction for transporting seawater with response power to vertical load (+Z) generated in a moment according to the opening of a valve, so that the GRE pipe installed in a vertical direction for transporting seawater can have high response power to the vertical load (+Z) generated in a moment according to the opening of the valve. The supporting device comprises: a mounting frame which is fixated to a fixed frame installed around a GRE pipe; and a supporting member whose lower part is seated on the mounting frame without any restraint and whose upper part is partly combined with a flange of the GRE pipe installed in a vertical direction in order to have response power to the vertical load.
