The present invention provides a mobile terminal which includes a body which includes a front side, a rear side, and a lateral side, a display unit which is arranged on the front side of the body and performs a writing operation by a touch input in a writing mode, a squeeze sensing unit which is mounted on the lateral side of the body to detect a squeeze operation and senses pressure applied to the lateral side of the body, and a control unit which recognizes the kind of the squeeze operation by using the squeeze sensing unit and generates a different control command related to the writing mode according to the kind of the squeeze operation. |
