<p>Provided is a flat cable connector which facilitates connection control. The flat cable connector includes a housing, a contact, and a cover member. The housing has the shape of a plate fixed to a circuit board while the lower surface faces the circuit board. The housing also has the upper surface facing a socket surface on which a socket pattern of FPC is formed. The contact is accommodated in the housing while a part protrudes from the upper surface of the housing. The cover member is fixed to the opposite upper surface to the socket surface of the FPC while more protruding from both sides of the width direction of a flat cable than the FPC. The cover member has the shape of a plate inserting the FPC into a gap between the housing of the FPC. The cover member includes a connection pin, which is bent and extended from a part protruding from the FPC and is connected to the side of the housing.</p> |
