The present invention relates to a U-shaped dental impression tray which forms a mold of teeth, comprising: a first handle; and a U-shaped first receiving unit for impression material. The U-shaped first receiving unit for impression material comprises: a first support fixture having a radius of curvature greater than the radius of curvature of a set of teeth; a second support fixture having a radius of curvature smaller than the radius of curvature of a set of teeth; a first net placed in-between the first and the second support fixtures; and a first discharging hole for impression material placed on the upper and lower parts of the curvatures of the first and the second support fixtures around the first net. The U-shaped receiving unit for impression material has an extension unit extended symmetrically from the center of the U-shape beyond the occlusal point of the teeth. Also, the U-shaped dental impression tray which forms a mold for a part of the teeth, comprises: a second handle; and a U-shaped second receiving unit for impression material. The U-shaped second receiving unit for impression material comprises: a U-shaped third support fixture having a narrow width where teeth are inserted; a second net installed in-between the third support fixtures; and a second discharging hole for impression material placed on the upper and lower parts of the curvatures of the third support fixtures around the second net. The dental impression tray is characterized in that the U-shaped second receiving unit for impression material has an extension unit extended symmetrically from the center of the U-shape beyond the occlusal point of the teeth. |
