The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for images captured by a room mirror. The apparatus to control the images captured by the room mirror comprises: an angle sensor measuring the angle of the room mirror in a vehicle; an operation sensing unit detecting the operation angle of the room mirror based on a measured value from the angle sensor; a view conversion unit, which generates view-converted videos by converting the outside view filmed by a camera equipped in the vehicle based on the detected operation angle of the room mirror; and an output control unit enabling the room mirror to display the outside view, and displaying the view-converted videos through the room mirror corresponding to the adjusted angle of the room mirror when the angle of the room mirror is adjusted while the video of the outside is displayed through the room mirror.
