PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an anti-reflective glass substrate, capable of achieving both etching treatment of a surface of the glass substrate and physical strengthening treatment, and to provide an apparatus therefor.SOLUTION: The method for producing anti-reflective glass comprises the steps of: (a) preparing a physically strengthened glass substrate; and (b) bringing a treatment gas containing a hydrogen fluoride (HF) gas into contact with a surface of the physically strengthened glass substrate at a temperature of 250°C or higher and lower than 400°C.
