PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a surface-treated glass substrate, in which the glass substrate having the surface treated with a material, that causes no explosion or no fire, has low hazardousness and is handled more easily, can be produced and a safety unit or the air tightness of a production device to be used therein can be made simpler and smaller than before.SOLUTION: The method for producing the surface-treated glass substrate comprises a step of bringing a gas containing TFA (trifluoroacetic acid) into contact with at least one surface of a glass ribbon. |
