PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide carrier and two-component developer configured to develop a stable amount of toner to obtain a uniform image with excellent color reproducibility for a long time, without any influence of toner consumption history of a previous image, and to provide an image forming method and apparatus using the same.SOLUTION: Carrier for electrostatic latent image development includes a coating layer containing at least a binder resin and a fine particle on a carrier core material. In the carrier, a ratio of exposed surface area of the core material with respect to surface area of the core material is 0.1-5.0%, a ratio of maximum exposed surface area of the exposed core material with respect to the surface area of the core material is 0.03% or less, and the binder resin is contained at 2.8-4.6 parts by weight with respect to 100 parts by weight of the core material. |
