PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light guide body which is effective for reducing brightness irregularity in a lighting device of an edge light method, does not allow a light deflection element to be visualized when looking at the lighting device and has high luminance, to provide the lighting device having the light guide body and to provide a display apparatus using the lighting device.SOLUTION: In a light guide body which is translucent, is formed of a light deflection element on one side surface of the light guide body and is formed of an optical path control element on the other side surface of the light guide body, unit lenses are arranged such that an average inclination angle &thetas; of the unit lenses in cross-sectional shape parallel to light incident surface of the light guide body monotonously decreases from the center part to an edge part in the direction parallel to the incident surface of the light guide body and, thereby, the improvement of screen center luminance and the evenness of luminance when being visualized from an observation direction are improved. |
