<p>This touch panel has a first electrode, and a second electrode that is disposed at an interval from the first electrode. The first electrode and/or the second electrode is formed of a plurality of fine metal lines and a light transmissive resin portion having the metal lines dispersed therein. In the case of radiating light from the first electrode, the first electrode is provided on the light transmissive first substrate, said first electrode having the metal lines dispersed therein, and in the case of radiating light from the second electrode, the second electrode is provided on the light transmissive second substrate, said second electrode having the metal lines dispersed therein. In such cases, the first substrate and the second substrate function as light guide layers. Alternatively, the touch panel is provided with a light transmissive light guide layer, and a light emitting section, which is provided on the light guide layer, and which has the metal lines dispersed therein in the same manner as in the first electrode and the second electrode, and the light guide layer and the light emitting section are combined with the first electrode and the second electrode.</p> |
