A waste heat recovery apparatus for a ship, according to the present invention, includes a waste heat absorbing unit which includes a heat absorbing unit for recovering heat generated from the engine and a cooling unit for cooling the engine; a first supply line through which a first heat medium flows, wherein the first heat medium is heat-exchanged in the heat absorbing unit; a waste heat recovery unit which is in connection with the first supply line and includes a heat exchanger absorbing the heat recovered by the first heat medium; a second supply line for transferring the first heat medium heat-exchanged in the heat exchanger to the heat absorbing unit; a cooling line for discharging a second heat medium which passed through the cooling unit; and a heat medium exchanging unit for exchanging the second heat medium of the cooling line with the first heat medium of the second supply line.
