摘要 <p>The graphic characteristics of 3D graphic objects encrypted using format-preserving encryption make the rendering of such objects quite inefficient by non-authorized devices. To optimize the rendering of a 3D graphic object (120) represented by a list of points and a list of surfaces defined by points in the list of points, a device (110) performs: an operation of receiving (210) the graphic object(120); an operation of encrypting (220) the graphic object(120) using a format-preserving encryption method to obtain an encrypted graphic object; an operation of encapsulating the encrypted graphic object to obtain an encapsulated graphic object by adding at least one encapsulation by adding for each encapsulation, to the list of surfaces, a plurality of surfaces that together enclose the encrypted graphic object and, in an embodiment, at least one point to the list of points; and an operation of outputting (230) the encapsulated graphic object (130). Decryption is performed by essentially reversing the encryption.</p>
