PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dyeing method capable of efficiently transferring a sublimable dye and of yielding a dyed object excellent in terms of color development and to provide a dyed object excellent in terms of color development.SOLUTION: The dyeing method of the present invention is a dyeing method for forming a dyed portion on a fabric by sublimating and transferring thereon a sublimable dye comprising a step of preparing the fabric, a step of obtaining a transfer medium by applying, onto a recording medium, an ink for sublimation transfer including the sublimable dye and water, and a step of transferring the sublimable dye onto the fabric by heating the transfer medium via the fabric in a state where the ink for sublimation transfer applied to the transfer medium has yet to be dried and where the fabric and the transfer medium oppose one another. |
