PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a metal oxide nanoparticle dispersion liquid excellent in dispersibility and transparency compared to organic material and silicone resin.SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing a metal oxide nanoparticle dispersion liquid includes the step of dispersing, in a liquid medium by the bead mill method, a metal oxide (B) having a TiOH group on a surface, and a surface modifier (A) represented by the general formula (1) defined by R-SiRH, where Rrepresents a substituted or unsubstituted, saturated or unsaturated alkyl group, alkoxy group, methacrylic group, acrylic group, cycloalkyl group, aryl group, organic silyl group or organic siloxy group, Rrepresents a substituted or unsubstituted, saturated alkyl group, and n is an integer of 1-3. |
