PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the chamber of a collision detection device for a vehicle in which a piercing hole formed at a chamber body with a blow pin is securely clogged, and the sealing performance of the chamber can be increased and to provide a method for manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: The chamber 30 of a collision detection device for a vehicle comprises: a hollow chamber body 40 molded by blow molding; and an insert component 80 for a plug body fitted to a rear wall 73 upon molding of the chamber body 40 by insert molding. The insert component 80 for a plug body includes: a base part 81 which is retained in the rear wall 73 with a flange part 86 being included in the rear wall 73; and a blow pin insertion hole 83 provided through the base part 81, and, into which a blow pin is inserted upon the blow molding of the chamber body 40.
