PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power recovery device and a liquid processing plant using the device capable of producing processed water from liquid to be processed stably at a low cost while suppressing the power consumption.SOLUTION: A power recovery device includes: a rotator 23 which is housed such that a plurality of pistons 29 can be reciprocated over two main spaces respectively divided liquid-tightly and has a sub space provided with a difference having a diameter smaller than the main spaces communicated with respective main space both edge parts; a cylindrical case configured so as to house the rotator rotatably therein, be provided with a first opening with a channel and a second opening with a channel formed therein respectively through which raw water (low pressure) and high-concentration raw water (high pressure) are circulated via an inlet side channel and the raw water (high pressure) and high-concentration raw water (low pressure) are circulated via an outlet side channel, and be alternately connected to a first opening group and a second opening group via the inlet side channel and the outlet side channel through which four kinds of raw waters corresponding to four sub spaces are respectively inputted and outputted every time when the rotator rotates by a predetermined rotation angle; and a cover body with which the cylindrical case for housing the rotator is covered. Therein, pressure of the raw water (low pressure) is elevated by using the high-concentration raw water (high pressure), and raw water (high pressure) is produced. |
