The present invention relates to a vertical pouch. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the vertical pouch comprises: heating elements which react with a reaction liquid to cause an exothermic reaction; a first pack in which a space capable of accommodating the heating elements is formed between a first sheet and a second sheet; a second pack in which a space capable of accommodating the heating elements is formed between a third sheet and a fourth sheet; a contents accommodation portion comprising the second sheet of the first pack, the third sheet of the second pack, and a bottom portion which connects the lower portions of the second sheet and the third sheet and is upwardly or downwardly folded; and a reaction liquid passage portion which communicates between the first pack and the second pack. Accordingly, the volume of a pouch is minimized when the pouch is stored, the pouch is stably erected so as to allow contents to be conveniently eaten when the pouch is used, heat transfer to the body of a user or the outside is minimized when an exothermic reaction occurs, and a reaction liquid is readily injected into the heating elements which exist at both sides of the pouch.
