PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-lubricating composite material capable of forming a solid lubricant excellent in material strength and abrasion resistance.SOLUTION: A composition of a self-lubricating composite material is 40 mass% to 60 mass% of molybdenum disulfide (MoS), 0.1 mass% to 2.0 mass% of copper (Cu) and 0.1 mass% to 2.0 mass% of nickel (Ni) and the balance iron (Fe).
