AUTHENTICATION PROGRAM, AUTHENTICATION METHOD AND AUTHENTICATION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the authentication accuracy using an algorithm for calculating assuming a hyperplane goes through the origin.SOLUTION: The authentication method includes the steps of: calculating one or plural normal vectors on a hyperplane which goes through the origin of an (n+p)-th space (n and p are natural numbers); generating a first (n+p)-th feature vector by adding elements from an (n+1)-th element to an (n+p)-th element to a first n-th feature vector; converting the first (n+p)-th feature vector into a first bit string using one or plural normal vectors on the hyperplane; generating an (n+p)-th feature vector of a searching object by adding elements from an (n+1)-th element to an (n+p)element to an n-th feature vector of a searching object stored in a data storage part; converting an (n+p)-th feature vector of the searching object into a second bit string using one or plural normal vectors on the hyperplane; and calculating a distance between the first bit string and the second bit string.
