Mechanical conductor connecting system to terminal pin - uses conductor clamp and moving conductor grip with stripping edge

The terminal pin is of quadratic cross section and the conductor is an insulated wire. The connection is effected by a tubular clamping sleeve, inserted onto the pin together with the conductor. Prior to insertion the insulation stripping edge of the connector clamp presents the bare end of the wire. The conductor (2) is firmly secured in a conductor clamp of the connecting device near the opening of the conductor retaining elements. Then this element is moved in relation to the connecting clamp against the inserting direction of the clamping sleeve (1). Thus the conductor end is pressed first against the stripping edge, pulled out of the opening, stripped and so bent that during subsequent insertion of the sleeve it enters the inner space freely through the open front facing the terminal pin (3).
