The present invention relates to a method for offering a recommendation result connected to a function for automatically completing a search word. The method for offering the recommendation result comprises (a) a step for enabling a user terminal to connect a website and to input the search word to a search box which is a user interface for a search of the website; (b) a step for enabling an automatic completion inquiry server of the website to display a recommendation search word on an area 1 (a recommendation search word list area) corresponding to the search word of the (a) step; (c) a step for displaying recommendation information extracted from a database of the website on an area 2 (a recommendation information list area) corresponding to the search word of the (a) step; (d) a step for displaying abstract information for the selected recommendation information on an area 3 (a preview content area) when an action of an input unit for the displayed recommendation information is generated; and a step for moving to a detail page of the recommendation information according to the selection for unit information or the abstract information of the (d) step.
