PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection valve capable of increasing a fuel injection amount without increasing a stroke and a time for opening a valve element by minimizing a flow path resistance between a center fuel passage and a nozzle hole.SOLUTION: A fuel injection valve includes: a valve assembly 10 composed of a valve element 13, a movable core 12 and a connection rod 14; a center fuel passage 49 passing through a fixed core 5 and the movable core 12; a fuel chamber 55 defined between the connection rod 14 and a valve housing 3; and an outside fuel passage 57 defined between the valve element 13 and the valve housing 3 to communicate the fuel chamber 55 with a nozzle hole 9. At a rear end of the connection rod 14, there are provided a rear side recessed part 51a which is opened to the center fuel passage 49 and a rear part cutout 52a which opens the rear side recessed part 51a to the fuel chamber 55. Inside the valve element 13 formed in a hollow cylindrical shape, there is provided an inside fuel passage 56 which can be communicated with the nozzle hole 9. At a front end of the connection rod 14, there are provided a front side recessed part 51b which is opened to the inside fuel passage 56 and a front part cutout 52b which opens the front side recessed part 51b to the fuel chamber 55. |
