PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel loader which can improve fuel consumption and is good in operability.SOLUTION: Predetermined torque characteristics are obtained by multiplying an upper-limit value of engine output torque based upon an output torque line by a predetermined rate which is smaller than 100% within a partial range of an engine rotating speed. Torque upper-limit value information defines an upper-limit value of engine output torque which varies depending on a vehicle speed and a tractive force. When predetermined determination conditions are met, an engine output torque control part controls the engine output torque on the basis of the torque upper-limit value information. The predetermined determination conditions include a travel state being forward, an operation state being loaded, and a lifting operation of a working machine being performed. When predetermined determination conditions are not met, the engine output torque control part controls the engine output torque on the basis of the predetermined torque characteristics. |
