PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hard film coated cutting tool which enables coating of even a small-diameter cutting tool with a multi-layer film and has excellent abrasion resistance.SOLUTION: A hard film coated cutting tool 1 is coated with a first hard film 3 and a third hard film 5, both composed of TiAlCrSiN, and a second hard film 4 composed of TiSiN. The hard films are formed in the order of the first hard film 3, the second hard film 4 and the third hard film 5, from the side of the base metal 2 of the hard film coated cutting tool 1, and the film thickness of the first hard film 3 is greater than the film thicknesses of the second hard film 4 and the third hard film 5. |
