PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressor having a structure capable of further reducing vibration and noise by suppressing deformation of a shaft.SOLUTION: In a rotary compressor, an upper bearing is fixed to an inner wall of a sealed container at its outer peripheral portion, and includes a boss portion for journaling a shaft inside thereof, at its central portion, the shaft is joined to a rotor, the rotor has a structure formed by stacking a plurality of thin plates, and is provided with fixing plates at its both ends, the plates have a hollow structure at a shaft peripheral portion to prevent contact with the boss portion of the upper bearing, and a part to be joined to the shaft, of the thin plate of the rotor brought into contact with the plate disposed at a bearing side, is bent into the L-shape at an end face to form a shaft retaining portion. |
