PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spacer for ionization radiation treatment for effectively separating the tissue to be treated from other tissues, which can be easily arranged in an organism and requires no laparotomy for removing the arranged spacer after ionization radiation treatment.SOLUTION: The spacer for ionization radiation treatment includes a fiber assembly including fibrous materials of biocompatible synthetic polymer material which are three-dimensionally cross-connected. More specifically, the spacer has a thickness of 1 mm to 100 mm.
