PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display body that is excellent in forgery prevention and design improvement by forming a metal reflection layer and a transparent reflection layer at high position accuracy and has a barrier property, and to provide a manufacturing method for it.SOLUTION: A display body comprises: a first area where a first rugged structure with a structure depth of not less than 200 nm but not greater than 2 μm and an aspect ratio of not less than 0.5 but not greater than 2.0 is formed on a relief formation layer; and a second area where the first rugged structure is not formed. The thickness ratio between an aluminum layer and a boehmite layer is determined by the first rugged structure, thus making it possible to make the first and second areas different in terms of transmittance of light passing through the display body. |
