An organic compound comprises an anchor group on a layer of copper or copper-containing layer, a linker group and a head group for connecting next layer. The anchor group includes long chain phosphonic acid and/or a phosphonic acid derivative, which is directly contacted with a copper substrate or a copper-containing substrate. An independent claim is included for an organic electronics component integrated on a circuit board, prepreg or other common printed circuit board substrate, which comprises organic compound, monolayer and a top electrode made of copper or nickel.
