A unit for transporting and cleaning tuberous roots consists of a frame, a feeding conveyer, a baffle brush, a hollow cleaner shaped as two barrels, the upper of which has a smaller diameter than that lower, the generating surface is formed by round longitudinal rods with spaced gaps and which is connected with a drive in rotational movement, inside of which at the level of the base of the upper barrel on two fixed legs a cleaning unit of an arched profile, formed by driving rollers, which counterrotate in pairs, and also of a blanket cleaner and an unloading conveyer. According to the invention, the cleaning unit is mounted on legs movably and connected with the end compression springs. In doing so above the cleaning unit, on a longitudinal axle of the cleaner, a pile divider as two driving cam rollers, arranged horizontally, which have counter-rotational movement, directed downwards, is mounted. The lower parts of the legs have a fixed dirt-baffling unit of a concave shape. |
