PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid state image pickup device in which degradation of image quality of a captured image can be minimized.SOLUTION: A solid state image pickup device includes a plurality of photoelectric conversion elements, a light-shielding part, and a correction part. The plurality of photoelectric conversion elements convert incident light photoelectrically into charges in an amount corresponding to the amount of light received. The light-shielding part is located on the light-receiving surface side in a predetermined photoelectric conversion element, out of the plurality of photoelectric conversion elements, and shields the incident light entering a predetermined photoelectric conversion element from the light-receiving surface side. The correction part corrects the amount of incident light received by the photoelectric conversion elements other than the predetermined photoelectric conversion element, on the basis of the amount of incident light received by the predetermined photoelectric conversion element. |
