PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor in which demagnetization resistance is improved by arranging permanent magnets with optimum holding power in individual sections of a rotor which is steppedly skewed.SOLUTION: A rotor 10 including a first rotor section 11a and a second rotor section 11b arranged to abut on the first rotor section 11a by shifting it by a prescribed skew angle &thetas; includes: magnets Ma arranged in individual magnetic poles of the first rotor section 11a; and magnets Mb which are disposed in the individual magnetic poles of the second rotor section 11b and are disposed by shifting them from the magnets Ma arranged in the individual magnetic poles of the first rotor section 11a by the prescribed skew angle &thetas;. Coercive force Cfa of the magnets Ma installed in the individual magnetic poles of the first rotor section 11A differs from coercive force Cfb of the magnets Mb arranged in the individual magnetic poles of the second rotor section 11b. |
