According to the present invention, a welding post processing apparatus comprises: a low current supplying means for supplying low current which is lower than the current supplied in welding; and a torch for a welding post process to increase fatigue performance of a welding joint part by re-melting the welding joint part with the supplied low current by being electrically connected to the low current supplying means. Moreover, according to an embodiment of the present invention, a welding post processing method comprises: a low current supplying step for supplying low current which is lower than the current supplied in welding to the torch for a welding post process; and a dressing step for increasing the fatigue performance of a welding joint part by low heat input re-melting the welding joint part by the torch for a welding post process. According to the present invention, the low current supplying means and the torch for a welding post process are composed to re-melt the welding joint part with low current. By low heat input re-melting the welding joint part with low current, a stress concentration part is removed from the welding joint part of a base material. By making tension residual stress uniform, the tension residual stress is reduced. Therefore, the fatigue performance can be improved. |
