The method involves arranging a tactile sensor (10) above a side of a display device. The tactile sensor is folded around the display device such that a section of the tactile sensor is provided on a side of the display device. The section of the tactile sensor is provided with conductor paths (14) and connecting surfaces (16). Another section of the tactile sensor is provided with electrodes. A number of the connecting surfaces is electrically connected with another number of the connecting surfaces. The latter number of the surfaces is electrically connected with a control unit (12). The electrodes are sensor electrodes. An independent claim is also included for a device for reducing edging of a tactile sensor.
