PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal device and an outlet using the same capable of preventing a wire from being inserted excessively.SOLUTION: The terminal device includes: a terminal plate piece 61 which can be electrically connected to a conductor which is exposed from an insulation coating removed at the end of the wire; a terminal screw 8c inserted into a hole 61a of the terminal piece 61; and a nut 8d screwed with a terminal screw 8c. The conductor can be nipped between the terminal piece 61 and the nut 8d. The terminal piece 61 has a stopper 63 is formed for preventing the wire from being inserted excessively.
