PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a droplet discharge head achieving high reliability.SOLUTION: A droplet discharge head includes: a nozzle layer having multiple nozzle holes; a flow passage layer 105 which forms an individual liquid chamber individually communicating with the nozzle holes; an actuator substrate 106 which generates a pressure in a fluid flowing in the individual liquid chamber; and a protective substrate 107 which complements the rigidity of the actuator substrate 106. The protective substrate 107 is joined to a predetermined joined region 123 of the actuator 106 through an adhesive 120. The actuator substrate 106 includes a pad opening part 119 and an aluminum fluoride layer 124 on a surface to which the protective substrate 107 is joined. The aluminum fluoride layer 124 is not formed within a predetermined distance from the pad opening part 119 and is disposed in a spot like form in at least the joined region 123.
